Some countries in the world have extremely weird traditions that could even make you shiver. One such tradition comes from the Yanomamo tribe in Venezuela. It’s an ancient custom that does not allow any part of the deceased human body to be kept. What they do when a person dies is cremate the body and crush the bones to all of the ashes. Then the ashes are delivered to the family. And here comes the totally weird part – everything must be eaten! People from this tribe believe that a person passes away because some evil has been sent to him by nature or another human being. By eating the ashes, they try to make sure that the spirit of the deceased finds peace in the outer world. No matter what their rational for this whole ceremony is, this is one totally weird tradition! If you are interested in other examples of weird traditions, visit InfoZooms to read more.
